Comparison of Sandbag, Close Pad, and Cold Application Combined with Sandbag in Preventing Peripheral Vascular Complications After Cardiac Catheterisation

Objective: This study was conducted to compare the effectiveness of sandbag method, close pad application, and cold application plus in preventing peripheral vascular complications after coronary procedure. 
 Methods: 120 patients were included this experimental study. Three different methods used following procedure within scope planned Only for 40 patients, only patients. In all groups, presence hematoma, haemorrhage, ecchymosis, pain evaluated at 15th minute, 4th hour, on 1st, 2nd days removal catheter. The data collected using Personal Information Form, Individual Observation Form Visual Analogue Scale.
 Results: second day follow-up intervention, it found that ecchymosis higher but similar group (p = 0.047). At hour method less than 0.04).
